What is YoungLives ?

More than 25 years ago, Young Life answered the call to run headlong into the chaos of teenage motherhood with the hope of Jesus … and YoungLives was born. YoungLives has never wavered from the original vision to reach teen moms by entering their world, modeling the unconditional love of Christ and encouraging them to become the women and mothers God created them to be. Through our time-tested methods and life-on-life mentoring, YoungLives creates positive, sustainable change in the lives of teen moms and their children, impacting two generations at once. Teen moms from Maine to Virginia and places in between are waiting — and we can’t wait to meet them!
Community
346 U.S. COMMUNITIES + OVER 2,000 MENTORS.
YoungLives clubs are regular gatherings with parenting teenagers and mentors with the support of childcare workers and various community help. Clubs meet around the world offering fun, laughter, encouragement and an inspirational message. Other YoungLives activities may include Bible study, group outings and life skill instruction.

Life as a teenager can be difficult. Life as a young mother may multiply that difficulty. YoungLives uses a combination of our traditional outreach program and a one-on-one mentoring program to invest in the lives of young parents and to bless their babies. YoungLives mentors show they care by going where girls are, meeting them as they are and believing in who they can be no matter their response.
Adventure
10 U.S. SUMMER CAMP WEEKS SERVING TEEN MOMS AND BABIES
YoungLives camp is an extraordinary place! Mentors accompany teen moms and their babies to a camp facility designed just for girls to have respite from their daily struggles. Here teen moms are immersed in the love of God, build new friendships, and can focus on their future along with tons of fun surprises for mother and child.
